Allie & Anthony
Today’s elegant Deux Belettes wedding happened despite torrential rain – the ceremony switched from an outdoor ceremony under the sun to a beautiful wedding with rain pouring down outside with the newlyweds saying their vows against the Deux Belettes French inspired courtyards. It never matters if it rains because it always ends up being the best stories to tell with the most wonderful, misty photography.
Allie tells, “We met at a New Year’s Eve party in Noosa. ”
Simon Taylor Photography captured the dreamy photographs of Allie and Anthony’s beautiful wedding day.
Allie wore a gown by Darb Bridal Couture and paired it with vintage jewels. Her bridesmaids wore pale blue gowns from Carla Zampatti.
Allie walked down the aisle to Lisa Mitchell, ‘Valium’.
Of their photographer, Allie says, “Simon was an easy going, fun and creative photographer who made everyone feel comfortable and he dealt with the pending weather extremely well!”
“I think we wore our shoes for about 20 minutes during the ceremony. Because of the rain we were barefoot around the grounds whilst taking photos and our heels never came back on which suited me fine as I love a good pair of flats!”
Allie describes the wedding as, “Understated elegance in a relaxed rural setting making our wedding a fabulously fun day for all with the added bonus of a background straight out of provincial France ~ Perfect for our treasured photographic memories.”
Allie and Anthony gifted his and hers favors, Allie recalling, “For bonbonniere’s we brought little flats (from Tipsy Toes) for all the women as it was a long wedding so it was great to see everyone relaxing and dancing and having fun in comfort. The men all got cigars which we didn’t think everyone would have however it was one of the highlights of the day and made for wonderful photos with all guests having a cigar out in the country air.” Monograms Fine Papers created the stationery for the day.
The flower arrangements were styled by Phoebe Stevens .
Seaweed Cuisine catered the wedding and also created the wedding cake adorned with hydrangeas.
For their first dance, Allie remembers, “Our wedding was all day and night so by the time our first dance came around it was a lot of fun with a big 12 piece band and all our friends and family joining us. ” Soul’d kept the guests dancing all night!
Congratulations Allie & Anthony! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you also to Simon Taylor Photography for sharing today’s wedding with us!

The whole wedding is bang on but I am particularly smitten with the floral arrangements!
