There’s always something beautiful about seeing a designer’s gowns in a setting that isn’t runway or a studio. It’s as if their vision comes through as a full picture and it’s easy to lose yourself in the fantasy concepts created.
Designer Gwendolynne first shared her Spring/Summer collection last year and today I’m sharing the gorgeous, rainforest, tumbling creek campaign shoot. All about Gwendolynne’s desire for showing beauty within beauty, she set out to shoot the gowns in a backdrop that was as beautiful as the gowns themselves. A sense of freedom with a vision of mystical, earthy, ethereal nymphs playing in the forest set the scene. Each image, reminiscent of an oil painting shows off Gwendolynne’s signature vintage style beautifully.
Gwendolynne also debuted her Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival recently. The new designs are again elegantly reminiscent of 1920s glamour. Beading in darker shades, coffee tones and more structure make these gowns worthy of a closer look.
The fabrics are so delicate and free-flowing, and the beadwork so tasteful!
Undeniably, these gowns can easily create the look of a blushing bride. All the designs were tastefully created. It is hard to identify the best creation!
Wow gimme that one from the runway with a beaded corset – awesome.
