Hearing about a shiny new wedding fair is always exciting…but hearing about one that is taking place on the beautiful part of the coast that I now call home, well that was a wonderful double-whammy!
The Wedding Harvest had the goal to deliver a ‘one day event featuring the cream of the wedding crop under one roof’ and do you know what? They did exactly that.
The ‘one roof’ housing all sorts of wedding loveliness was the eclectic Sandbar & Grill which suited the theme & style event perfectly; with soaring ceilings and large open spaces it is a real gem of a wedding venue well worth considering for your special day.
Nestled in Casuarina, Northern NSW, The Wedding Harvest appealed to brides-to-be from Brisbane to Bryon Bay and beyond. The happy hustle and bustle throughout the day was a great sign that the event had hit the mark ~ teaming 40 handpicked suppliers and award winning food, with live music, master classes and let’s not forget, delicious drinks… served from a seriously cool 1950’s caravan called Hello Mr Jenkins!
I had planned to spend an hour at the event, however the excitement was contagious and I happily enjoyed an entire afternoon talking with the fantastic suppliers and also taking in a few of event’s master classes and catwalk shows.
Here is a little of how I spent the afternoon:
Ryan & Kelly of Lovestruck Event Hire & Styling caught my eye with their fully customisable wedding sign {think Las Vegas, but chic!} and fantastic range of hire items.
Bree of The Cake that Ate Paris baked the most beautiful biscuits and exquisite cakes…they were absolutely scrumptious.
The talented Ryder Evans wowed me with his photography skills and knowledge of the most beautiful wedding venues in the area.
Holly of One Love Wedding Styling had designed a gorgeous beachside ceremony backdrop complete with mismatched white chairs and cute floral arrangements hung in jam jars.
Greg & Megan are the lovely couple who own Hello Mr Jenkins, I mentioned him above. This very cute vintage caravan has been lovingly restored {complete with a chandelier} and is now available to hire as a unique mobile bar for your wedding or celebration. I would throw a party simply to book this charming little van!
With a glass of bubbly now in hand, I met up with Toni of Float; designer balloon creations… fear not, there wasn’t a balloon arch in sight! Toni, the creative brains behind Float explained ‘Float balloons are not your ordinary balloons. When fully inflated they measure over 90cm and come tailed with a decorative fancy frill that has been hand crafted from delicate tissue, ribbon and metallic sparkle’. They are very special!
With so many fabulous suppliers, I would really recommend that you pop across to The Wedding Harvest website to read a little more.
So with a goodie bag in one hand and a piece of delicious cake in the other, I left The Wedding Harvest very happy in the knowledge that this fantastic part of the coast from holds so many great suppliers.
I am already looking forward to seeing what The Wedding Harvest team will come up with next!
