Ling Ling and Sean
Today’s beautiful wedding of Ling Ling and Sean makes the most of two of Sydney’s most popular venues! Ling Ling looks gorgeous in her beautiful, fluffy wedding gown and the harbour backdrop as always provides such a beautiful addition to the wedding day.
Ling Ling kicks off their story. “We met through Groom’s sister in law. The groom was the bestman for his younger brother and the bride was the maid of honour for the sister in law.”
gm photographics captured today’s wedding with their classic, contemporary style!
Ling Ling chose a strapless Vera Wang gown from Helen Rodrigues with shoes by Oscar De La Renta. Red Amaryllis by Melanie Ryan created stunning arrangements of white orchids.
Ling Ling and Sean were married at St Mark’s Darling Point Church. Ling Ling remembers, “Yumi (my friend) singing Amazing Grace at the church, Darryl and Cindy (my friends) readings from their heart at the church and of course our parents’ presence made the day unforgettable.”
Of their photographers, Ling Ling says, “Graham from GM photographics was very informative and provided great ideas at all the meetings. Simon the photographer on the day was very professional and made us laugh and enjoyed our day.”
The wedding celebration continued at Sergeants Mess. Ling Ling notes, “Sergeants Mess did a fantastic job in ensuring the bride and the groom have enough rests in our own private room downstairs and stay well hydrated. The food was fabulous. The view is stunning looking out to Rose Bay and South heads. Sergeants Mess provided high level service throughout the day. ”
The favors were made by Groomsman – Nigel. Ling Ling remarks, “It involved his whole family the night before the wedding and the morning of the wedding day to make the shell, pump the ganache onto each shell, coordinate the colours to the wedding theme and pack them into the plastic box with ribbons around it individually. The entire wedding party and good friends Wing and Gavin helped out making the plastic boxes for the macarons for hours at my house.”
During the traditional tea ceremony, the bride’s friend Niki played the cello, setting the scene for the evening of classical music ahead.
