Brisbane’s The Emporium Hotel Cocktail Bar shares this Cuba Libre Daiquiri today, something a little different with a definite kick! How did this drink originate? The thing for sure is that it was first sipped in Cuba and today’s version from one of Brisbane’s best bars with it’s lime and bitters adds an extra depth of flavour.
Ingredients:
– 60 ml Bacardi 8
– 30 ml lime juice
– 20 ml House made Coca Cola syrup
– 2 dashes of whiskey barrel aged bitters
Method
1. In a cocktail shaker, combine ingredients and shake
2. Double strain
3. Pour into a martini glass and garnish with a lime wheel
