Anna and Will
I admit I love today’s love story, but the landscape and the way it was captured by Fred and Hannah took my breath away. Isn’t it stunning? Anna and Will tell, “We wanted something relaxed and fun, that reflected our love of the beach and nature. The beach we ended up at, which Fred & Hannah chose, just happened to be Will’s favourite surf break.”
“We met at a uni night out in Launceston in 2008. Anna had earlier decided that she wasn’t going out unless the new ‘magic 8 ball’ app on her friend’s phone could promise that she would meet a decent boy. Its response was ‘you can count on it’. And later in the night, there was Will, standing in the middle of the dance floor with a goofy grin and an 8 ball on his t-shirt…. and we haven’t been apart since! ”
“When he proposed, Will secretly booked a weekend down the NSW south coast at a place called the ‘Bower at Broulee’. A secluded and cosy eco cottage in the bush. After dinner at one of our favourite coastal restaurants, Anna was blindfolded and driven to the Bower, led into the cottage and the blindfold removed to reveal Will down on one knee and ‘marry me’ written in rose petals on the bed :)”
“Our first camping trip together was a real test for a new relationship… 3 months in we ventured up the east coast of Tassie for a week, where one particular day Will encouraged Anna to 1. Try surfing – which ended with a large egg on her head 2. Try Snorkeling – where as soon as her head was in the water she found herself looking directly at one very startled giant stingray. This snorkeling adventure continued through a long seaweed forrest and what we later found out was a stingray nursery area. 3. When Anna was safely on dry land, or so she thought, and walking back to the car, she managed to collect a VERY large splinter in the ball of her foot from an old wooden bridge – which required a visit to the local St Helens casualty department for surgical removal… Anna was then encouraged to try one new thing, Fishing, although doubtful, she’d figured she’d had her run of bad luck, and ended up catching her first fish.”
Some great shots of a place people don’t think about going to a lot
Beautiful.
Makes me want to go away.
I wish I could take engagement photos in an adventurous setting like this. These are some beautiful pictures that’s simplicity puts emphasis on this cute couple.
Gorgeous shots! Really makes me want to go to Tasmania
