A Dottie recently emailed asking whether boots would work with a wedding dress. Short answer? Yes! Long answer- Yes yes yes!
I am a heel lover through and through, but in truth, it’s hard to walk in heels on rocky, uneven ground and it’s even harder to dance all night long in them. If you’re a bride who is never seen without her boots? Is marrying in a barn? Loves wearing funky flats? Then why not head down the boot road and pop on a pair of cowboy boots for your wedding day. So much comfort (and warmth, so a great option for Autumn & Winter weddings!) with the funky fresh style.
Here’s some of the brides and their maids rocking their cowboy boots that have inspired me lately.

Amazing post – I so enjoy seeing brides with fabulous ball-gowns and cowboy boots underneath. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Completely agree with Annette — amazing post! I’m a country girl at heart, so this makes me happy to see so many brides (and their maids) rocking boots!
Why do I keep wearing my boots out? Love these fun dresses with worn boots. Guess I’ll keep mine and wear it with a fun party dress!
I read where you said boots were great for fall weddings, but I am getting married in June. I was planning on wearing my boots and so are many of the guests. I live in my boots and wear them every chance I get. I would not think of dancing in anything else. That being said, I plan on dancing all night and my dress is the style of high low, not long. This is not my first rodeo, and I’m not your traditional bride. I was so excited about wearing my boots. Will they be appropriate?? B
Of course they will be! You can wear whatever you like and if boots make you comfortable then go for it!
