The gorgeous Sydney designer Lisa Gowing has paid homage to the last fifteen years of design with her anniversary collection “Chantilly”. Based out of Sydney, Lisa’s fifteen year celebration marks a return to vintage inspired layered lace and silk gowns. Her understated elegance has been a signature of her designs for as long as I can remember.
Chantilly consists of fifteen styles, all featuring beautiful elegant detailing and of course, plenty of lace. The hand appliqued scallop lace gowns, matching mantilla veils, liquid silks, silk chiffon complete with embellishments and floaty, soft veils are all included in the collection. The echoes of Lisa’s past are not just present in materials, but also in workmanship. Lisa concentrated on the workmanship in this collection ensuring it was to couture standard. Each gown features bespoke elements making them a truly creative piece of art.
The gowns hark back to the couture designs that Lisa once created but are available as a made to order demi couture collection.
