I’m happy to introduce you to our vendor of the week this week, the lovely K.I.S.S Weddings! Owner Kim has spent over thirty years in the corporate and event industry and started her event planning business in 2009. Offering the first consultation free (because Kim understands you need to gel with your wedding planner!) Kim’s service extends from a five hour confirming vendors and designing schedule package, through to on the day coordination, a la carte planning, to even a complete package (which includes everything from flowers, to makeup services!)

To get to know Kim, we asked her from K.I.S.S Weddings five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink? 

I love something fruity like a Lychee or Watermelon Mojito.

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Don’t get much time on the weekends to get away but when I do it is with my husband to somewhere warm and relaxing.

Favourite restaurant?

Love Thai or Italian – got a few suburban faves at the moment – not too flashy just good honest food.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

I am not really much of a breakfast person…enjoy a mug of capuccino and a good piece of banana bread.

Your favourite wedding story?

There are so many…but if I had to choose one it would be have to be mine – an intimate garden wedding in our backyard with our nearest and dearest…the emotion of it all inspired me to become a wedding planner!
