This is you, in all of your finery."⁠ ⁠ When we first really learned about designer Harvest Powell of @hopeandharvest, it was when she made her dear friend @suzie_stevens' wedding gown. Those were the words she said in one of Suzie's fitting videos, and they've stuck with us ever since.⁠ ⁠ Then we watched as Harvest designed and made her own wedding gown. Three pieces, 85 metres of raw silk. She designed her husband's suit too, and made them both herself.⁠ ⁠ Today we get to share all of Harvest's insights: how the idea for her own gown came to her, how the process unfolded, and why she thinks "should" is one of the worst words in wedding planning.⁠ ⁠ Harvest has spent her career making sure plus-size bodies get the same architectural, high-end gowns everyone else takes for granted.
