Classic weddings never fail to make me love them. They’re steeped in tradition and nowadays? The sweet little personal touches are like little surprises amongst the flow of the day that is so familiar.

 Felicity says “We met at boot camp training… super romantic beginnings!”

Photography today is by Paper Tree Photography who has such a classic, gentle, beautiful nature to her photographs!

Felicity wore a gown by Johanna Johnson while her bridesmaids wore soft pink strapless gowns by Zimmermann .

St Peter Chanel Catholic Church was chosen as the ceremony venue for Felicity and John’s classic wedding ceremony.

Felicity walked down the aisle to “Somewhere over the Rainbow, sung by our close friend Hayley Marano.”

Felicity remembers the day as, “Without a doubt the best day of our lives.”

Of their photographer, Felicity says “Sam was fantastic, not only did she arrive early to ensure the photographs of the girls getting ready were captured to her standard she was excellent at documenting the entire day / evening. Many of our friends have asked who our photographer was and commented on how beautifully the photos turned out. ”

Felicity and John held their reception at Catalina. Felicity explains “Both venues were fantastic and provided a beautiful backdrop for our wedding. The grounds at St Peter Channel are gorgeous and spacious. For the reception we wanted something by the water with great food so Catalina was a perfect choice.”

Guests received jars of handmade jam from Cams Jams.

For their first dance, Felicity remembers “It was to Slide McBride’s rendition of “Can’t help falling in love” we were both a little anxious about this part of the night, however as soon as we hit the dance floor everything fell into place and Slide McBride was excellent.”
