The Moscow Mule is said to be the drink that launched the Vodka cocktail craze in the United States in 1940’s. Since then it’s continued to be a popular ‘refresher’ drink. It’s so easy to make and really is a refreshing drink perfect for parties, picnics and all types of festivities.
Ingredients:
– 2 oz Vodka
– 4 oz Ginger Beer
– ½ oz Lime Juice
Method:
- Fill glass with ice cubes
- Add Vodka and lime juice
- Top the glass with ginger beer
- Stir to combine
- Garnish with lime
For the best flavour make sure you use ginger beer rather than ginger ale.

First tried the Moscow Mule in bench wine bar Newtown. Fantastic zing with the ginger beer (Bundaburg of course) and I am glad to have the recipe so I can spoil my friends this week end. Thanks
Glad you enjoy this weeks Cocktail! And i’m sure your friends will love it too. It’s such a refreshing and tasty drink. And like you said, Bundaburg Ginger Beer makes it even better. Big Cheers. Ms Lace xo
