I’m thrilled today to place on centre stage the beautiful work of Sydney florist Petal and Pod. Owner Rebecca is a lover of all things bloomy and creates the most beautiful floral arrangements using plenty of texture, colour and Rebecca’s own special injection of beauty to create beautiful wedding bouquets, centrepieces and wedding decor. Petal & Pod offers a full service – from delivering your floral arrangements, set up & styling and even pinning of button holes!

We asked Rebecca from Petal and Pod five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

I’m quite partial to a cheeky margarita!

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Kangaroo Valley and Berry are very scenic and beautiful areas. I’ve also spent a bit of time in the Blue Mountains.

Favourite restaurant?

I’m thinking that Catalina,  Rose Bay could become a favourite! I recently delivered flowers there for a dinner. That view!

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Pancakes with bacon and maple syrup with the kids.

Your favourite wedding story?

I recently did flowers for a wedding down at Peppers Craigieburn in Bowral. The location was gorgeous and I was invited to stay for the beautiful ceremony. It was such a fun and lighthearted ceremony. The couple’s Staffi dog was brought along to take part and the bride and groom exchanged funny vows such as “I promise to pick up after myself and make more of an effort around the house!” and “I promise to get you a beer from the fridge, at the end of a hard working week!” Of course they exchanged some lovely heartfelt and serious vows as well.
