Sal & Gus
Even though it’s heading towards Summer with plenty of warmer weather, I am a cold weather girl and I love the cosy feeling to today’s engagement shoot from Chase Kuhn.
Gus proposed to Sal at the Mt Tomah Botanical gardens. Sal tells the story. “Gus took me on one of his classic “spontaneous” adventures. The day was a day of surprises. Surprise one: Gus arranged for the Botanical Gardens to be reserved for us after closing hours. We walked through the gardens looking at different beautiful locations, finally arriving at his location of choice just before sunset. Surprise two: Gus set up a picnic on a grassy terrace looking out over the blue mountains. We enjoyed dinner and dessert. Surprise three: Gus had me close my eyes while he set up a telescope. The two of us enjoyed looking at things in the distance. Surprise four: Gus told me that he had a special filter for looking at the sunset. He took a moment and placed the filter on the telescope. When I looked through the telescope the “filter” said “Marry Me Sal!” As I took her eyes away from the telescope Gus was on one knee. I said yes.
For their engagement shoot, the couple headed to Sal’s family farm in Berrima. Sal recalls “We really wanted to capture an average day on the farm. In short, walking the paddocks and exploring the beautiful countryside. We took a stroll for about 5km round trip laughing, running, looking at wildlife, and enjoying each other.”
Wow, beautiful engagement story, beautiful location, beautiful shots. beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!
Oh Lovely story and a beautiful part of NSW!
