Welcome to another week on Polka Dot Bride! I saw ‘Bridesmaids’ the movie last week and I loved it – have you seen it yet? I think the entire cinema could not stop laughing, I came out feeling queasy because I had laughed so hard!
Let’s kick off another working week with a highlight of one of the amazing vendors in Ms Polka Dot’s Directory! Check out our categories – we have incredibly talented cinematographers, florists, entertainment, hair & makeup artists, stationers and even celebrants! We’re adding more vendors every week! So visit Ms Polka Dot’s Wedding Directory to find the some of the world’s best vendors waiting for you!
Today I’m introducing one of our fabulous directory members – a fantastic photography studio run by Emma from Photography by Emma Pointon. Photography by Emma Pointon captures beautiful images that are filled with a sense of dreaminess- soft colours, romantic compositions and beautiful golden sunlight. Emma’s photographs are almost like time slows down to soak in the moment.
To learn a little more about Photography by Emma Pointon we asked Emma five questions in five minutes!
What is your favourite after five drink?
Anything with bubbles! If I am being good, sparkling water, if not, Champagne!
Your favourite weekend getaway?
Definitely staying down south in the Margaret River wine region. It has all my favourite things, beaches, beautiful forest, great boutique shops and of course lots of wineries, cheese factories and even a chocolate factory!
Favourite restaurant?
Cannot go past Mosman’s Restaurant on the beautiful Swan River. Luckily I get to shoot weddings there occasionally too!
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Poached eggs on toast if I am lucky!
Your favourite wedding story?
One of my brides arrived to the wedding in her Grandfather’s gold Volvo. He had passed away a few years before and had left her the car as he used to take her on little driving adventures in it when she was little. Having it as their wedding car was a touching way to remember her Grandfather and make sure he was a part of the day.
