Jessica and Kevin
Isn’t this engagement shoot of Jessica and Kevin completely dreamy? Yes my dreams consist of pretty balloons (never going to tire of them), of polka dot shirts, bow ties and beautiful blooms! Oh and red shoes, there are always red shoes!
Photos this morning are by Sydney photographer Matthew Mead- I love his dreamy style, the story of Jessica and Kevin has come to life through his photographs today.
Jessica tells the story. “The love story began in the Campus of University of New South Wales, there was once a lonely boy named Kevin, he spotted a girl called Jess, so he dragged his best mate to introduce her to him. It was love at first site for Kevin, but unfortunately Jess did not feel the same way, as the uni years progressed, they became the best of buddies. After they graduated, Jess dated other boys but Kevin stayed faithful to her, was always there for her through thick and thin, Jess kept on searching for the one, until one day she realized her Mr Right was always beside her! So she married Kevin and they lived happily ever after.”
Jess loves vintage clothing, and wore long sleeve ruffle dress from the 1980’s which she found in a vintage shop in Manhattan NYC (where she also found a 1940s lace slip to wear). Jess made the cream hairpiece and found the others in vintage shops around Sydney. Kevin wore a spotty shirt bought in Night Bazaar Market in Bangkok, with floral shirts by Paul Smith, tweed jacket by Brooks Brothers NYC and all bow ties hand made by Jess. Silk flowers on the grass were hand made by Jess, and the vintage bike was made in Italy by Bottecchia Dolce Vita.
