I am simply in love with the gorgeous new label that has been making waves the past little while. Mrs Press is a label by Clare Press, former features editor for Vogue Australia. Her range is full of beautiful creations with a distinct vintage feel to them. These pieces today? They’re perfect for bridesmaids or the bride that wants something a little different.
To me, Mrs Press has an elegant grace, to a time where I often drift to in my thoughts. There’s softly nipped dresses, layers of floaty tulle and silk, sparkly boleros, and even vintage pieces – a reminder of yesteryear. The new collection is aptly name ““C’est Si Bon”” (which translates to “Is So Good”).
Each garment is made individually in Australia by a seamstress, with only 30-40 of each piece made. Mrs Press can custom make dresses in different colours or fabrics if a bride requests it!
Along with her SS11 collection, Mrs Press has also released a complementary range of sweet skincare called “The Dressing Table” with gorgeous packaging. They make perfect treats for bridesmaids and loved ones, or perhaps your own wedding day pampering in three scents – Magnolia, Tea Rose and Warm Spice.
