I could be wrong, but I feel drawn to incredible sunshine in shoots lately. It’s possibly due to the fact winter is suddenly upon us and while I love winter, there is something about sunny skies in photos that give me a little relief from the bitter cold I already feel! (how odd, that on the other side of the world, a lot of you are feeling your first glimpses of warmth this year!
I love the sunshine and romantic moments in this engagement shoot of Viv and Nick that Baillie Photography sent over. They start with what Viv loves to do on a typical Saturday- shop and drink coffee! I love the vintage feel of the field shots (if vintage cameras have been everywhere lately, bear in mind this is only the second or third Australian engagement shoot to ever use them, so I still love seeing them!). Amy Chan was the hair and makeup artist on the day.

Beautiful! I love the sunlight and the yellow cast on the pictures as a result. Fun and cheery 🙂
The lens flare gives it such a sun-washed look. So delicate and natural…What a perfect location!
The shots in the field are so lovely. I love how golden everything looks. And I don’t usually like much in the way of the camera “adding” things to a photo to alter the feel, but the lens flare is very pretty. I’m going to remember to mention this when I hire a wedding photographer.
Gorgeous photography! I too am loving this time of year when the sun is shining! I carry a line of napkin rings that are perfect for any wedding. Stop by my blog and check them out.

Photos look very light and good, but I don’t think I’m a great fan of the piglet pooh dialogue. Not as cute as it made it appear, in my opinion.
