Liz and Dan
Let’s kick off our Friday with a lovely relaxed celebration! The lovely Hailey of You Can’t Be Serious Photography sent this over to us and I thought it was a perfectly delicious looking wedding when all most of us want to do right now is kick back and relax- just the style of today’s wedding!
Liz and Dan met at university while studying graphic design They decided on a casual wedding celebration – they didn’t worry about how many and family and friends to invite, they just invited them all!
Prior to the ceremony, Liz and Dan met up for some green garden photos in Surrey Hills.
Liz had her bouquet made by her friend’s mother. She wore a dip dyed dress from Nicolangela and shoes from Diana Ferrari. Dan wore a pin stripe shirt from Country Road with pants from Myer. His shoes were from Satch.
Liz walked down the aisle to “Iron and Wine” by Peng 33.
Liz and Dan held their ceremony and reception at the Mentone Life Saving Club in Melbourne. Liz’s ring was made by a Dutch artist while Dan and Liz were living in Holland (this is where they got engaged). Dan’s ring was made by an old school friend.
Check back this afternoon for the fun reception!

So lovely – the look and feel of Liz and Dan’s wedding is just beautiful. I love their outfits (her dress is just *amazing*) and they look so happy and so like they’re being them, getting married (says me, without knowing either of them, but you know what I mean!). Thanks for featuring a non-bridey bride – it makes some us us feel like we haven’t lost the plot with our own planning.
The flowers are gorgeous. So unique and beautiful!
