Welcome back to part two of Shasta and Guard’s Garden Soiree! See part one here.
After the ceremony, guests gathered next to the vineyards for an afternoon of high tea.
Kristen Harrison Catering created gourmet treats for the guests to enjoy, placed on vintage crockery.
Guests enjoyed wine from the venue’s (Neudorf Winery) vineyard
Paper bags from Poppies For Grace were filled with TraidAid fair trade chocolate bars from and TradeWinds Papua New Guinea coffee beans.
Shasta and Guard escaped to the vineyards for a few photos.
Guests tried a spot of croquet.
Shasta and Guard decided to finish the formalities early and held their speeches during the high tea, paper lanterns hung from the trees.
They also cut their cake. Shasta’s mother baked the wedding cake and it was decorated by Shasta’s cousin.
Shasta’s favourite wedding photo is of her and Guard with the “Just Married” sign made by her bridesmaid Elizabeth and Elizabeth’s father.
After the formalities, guests hopped on a bus and were driven to the dinner reception, held at the Smokehouse Cafe in Mapua
The couple had a few photos taken on the wharf at sunset before sitting down to enjoy a feast with their guests!
Thank you Shasta and Guard for sharing your wedding day with Polka Dot Bride! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and beautiful moments together!
