The sweetest groom to be emailed me a little while ago searching for a secret garden style venue. While we found a few possibilities he also asked for garden wedding decorating ideas. A garden doesn’t need much decoration- the greens of the plants and colourful blossoms are often enough But there are a few special touches you can add.

You could also:

– Make tissue paper pom poms (a la Martha Stewart) in different shades of your wedding colours

– Use paper bag luminaries with candlelight to mark paths and light your reception

– Hang long strands of crystals from tree branches, the facets will glint in the sunlight

– Place mason jars on the ground or hung off shepherd’s hooks and dot them around the garden
