Time for another round of Brides Seeking! To make it easy to find things, each Brides Seeking post will be updated with answers from the comments and emails- so check out the previous Brides Seeking for some answers!
Bride #1 “ I am in search of the perfect Tiffany Blue heels. I don’t want too high of a heel, preferable less than 3 inches. I want peep toes so that my manicured toes can be seen! 🙂 Thank you!”
Bride #2 “I am trying to look for a diary of folder of some sort that can help with the organisation of weddings and has all the essentials within so you don’t miss the finer details. one that can hold who is doing what and quotes and also arrangements so that it’s in a neat tight package for the bride to keep with her if she is really busy.”
Bride #3 “I’m seeking dotted / flocked tulle similar to that used in Pronovias veils recently, in ivory. Thanks!”
Bride #4 “I am a Melbourne ‘bride to be’ thinking about DIY-ing the flowers for our wedding reception. Thus looking for wholesale suppliers of flowers + places where I could hire vases?
Also – looking for sources of white or green calligraphy pens or else, simply white or green ink cartridges…”
Bride #5 “I’m looking for ivory, pointy-toe kitten heel/short (ideally 1.5 inches or so) bridal shoes. It’s really hard to find glamorous ivory shoes that aren’t 3 inches tall! My fiance is only a little taller than I am, so I don’t want to tower over him, but I’m still a shoe-lover! Thanks!”
Bride #6 “Seeking a hair & makeup artist that has fantastic experience working with Asian brides in Melbourne. Not many out there have skills to NOT paint our faces silly due to our skin tone, shape of the oriental eyes, high cheekbones, etc. Have done as much research as I can and found a few average ones so just wondering if anyone has further recommendations? Thanks a million!”
Bride #7 “I am seeking a flat silver/pewter/other silvery metal cake stand that is big and strong enough to take a 10 inch/25kg cake, which rests on several little ‘feet’ rather than a single column stand. Have looked everywhere and cannot find anything suitable!”
Bride #8 “I am seeking bird cages – of all shapes and sizes!”
This post will be updated with answers as they come in. Remember- leave a comment or send an email to be in the next Brides Seeking!
Bride #2 Have you checked out the P for planners post? It’s in the ABC of weddings http://www.polkadotbride.com/wp/index.php/category/abc-of-weddings/ and has quite a few
Hunting for the other queries!
Bride #1
These are a little higher than your 3″ height, but I thought they were too cute to not pass on:
Pool Blue on Endless.com
These are also a little taller than 3″ but very pretty:
Sky Ida at Endless
Bride # 2: I have Martha Stewart’s Keepsake Wedding Planner (http://www.seekbooks.com.au/book/Martha-Stewarts-Keepsake-Wedding-P/isbn/9781400048007.htm) it’s a bit pricey, but I love the detail, and it has clear pockets to store tidbits in, business card holders, and tons of space for writing in. Borders stocks it 🙂
Bride # 8: Ikea has quite a few birdcages in at the moment.. I know because I used to want it as a theme and gave up because it was too hard.. so was devastated to find them right under my nose.
Bride #4 I love The Growers Box-they sell “weddings in a box” and have lots of roses callas orchids etc-put them in as search term website should pop up
Bride #1
For Tiffany blue Heels- Jaimie wrote last week “Oh! As for those tiffany blue heels:
Try doing a search on http://www.shopstyle.com for “blue heels”, they have some adorable options and you can search by price.
Also, try http://www.like.com, if you do find an expensive pair you love and want to find a similar pair that are more affordable, you can search that site for other “look-a-like” pairs and such. Search by color, type, style, the works – it’s SO helpful!
Good luck everyone! Sorry I left so many comments…I became addicted…lol.
Hope all is well, Ms.Polka – your blog still remains one of my absolute favorites…so inspiring. Cheers!
Sincerely,
Jaime 😉

Bride #1- Have you tried Zappos?
Bride #2- Here’s a direct link to that entry I mentioned. Personally I love the Harry & The Princess Planner or the Kikki K Planner as they’re Australian 🙂

Bride #3 Did you see last weeks Brides Seeking? http://www.polkadotbride.com/wp/index.php/category/brides-seeking/ There’s a few reccs for polka dot tulle in there!
Bride #4 Instead of vase hire have you thought of buying vases from a wholesaler? Some sell to personal accounts.
Otherwise

Bride #8 I agree- check out Ikea! My other thought was second hand shops, $2 shops (grab a can of spray paint but sometimes they have cute wrought iron style ones you could spray) and even ebay!
Bride #5 I’m not sure where you’re based- if in Aus have you tried Cinderella Bella?
