It’s Saturday! I’m inside braving another heatwave so I thought I’d spill the beans on my new favourite skincare range! I’m a bit of a natural skincare girl- I have fun with makeup but like to put natural products on my skin.
I recently trialled some products from New Zealand skincare company Trilogy (who I interviewed last year) started by sisters Sarah and Catherine. There are so many tips on skincare on the lead up to your wedding- don’t tan the day before, don’t get your first facial the week before, manicures, pedicures, waxing and don’t forget to colour your roots!
But apart from the don’ts and the “visit a salon constantly so you look all glowy” there aren’t many tips on how to just look great!
Enter The Everything Balm! I have been through three tubs since I first tried this because nothing else is simply as good on my skin as this product! After a long and cold Australian winter my skin needed nourishment before I braved summer (and after Melbourne’s recent heatwave it needs nourishment from the air conditioning!). I use this product everyday!
Trilogy Everything Balm is a multi functional product designed to act as a
- Body moisturiser
- Cuticle treatment
- Massage oil
- Hair treatment
- After sun care
- Baby moisturiser
- Frizz buster
- Lip balm
- Eyebrow tamer
It contains all the good stuff too- Marula Oil, Rosehip Oil, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba Oil, Wheat Germ Oil, Honey and Vitamin E. The tub comes in two sizes 95ml and 45ml. It comes with a little spatula to ensure you can keep your stash clean and is packed in a sweet little bag too, so it’s easy to take away with you!
I also tried out Trilogy’s Rosehip Oil. I’ve been using rosehip oil for a few years (it’s fantastic for scars, damaged skin, wrinkles and aging skin. Trilogy’s rosehip oil is certified organic (most of the Trilogy range is built on organic and sustainable principles) and the Trilogy oil is my favourite choice, It’s easy to apply with a dropper and sinks into the skin quickly.
Trilogy products are free of mineral oils and synthetics and are not animal tested. The company itself is the first carbon neutral skincare company in New Zealand, use eco friendly packaging, fair trade supplies and are committed to being environmentally friendly. It also means you get the best ingredients in the products which go directly on your skin!
You can find Trilogy stockists on their website.
