Since it is the season to be jolly, merry and all around happy I thought Christmas entries were the right ingredient to add to the mix.
There’s a lot of gorgeous decorations around at the moment and I think it’s a shame pretty things- which would normally be fit for a wedding are packed away come January.
So in the lead up for Christmas, ‘A Decorated Wedding’ will show you different ways of using Christmas decorations for your own wedding.
Baubles
Far from being limited to the traditional silver and gold, you can find baubles in any colour and so many different shapes and styles! Here’s some inspiration for using them at your wedding.
Pile baubles in a glass vase or jar for a centrepiece

Buy empty DIY fillable baubles and fill them with feathers, glitter, butterflies, beads, love notes or name tags. Use them as table decorations or as glittery decor.
- Personalise baubles and use them as place cards or escort cards (these look great placed in a wine glass)
- Box them beautifully as favors
- Hang them in different lengths down windows, verandas, exposed beams and doors. Clear, glass ornaments will sparkle and look gorgeous
- Buy a massive bauble or lots of medium sized ones in a matte finish and provide metallic markers for guests to sign their well wishes on then. A beautiful memento!
I LOVE the idea of baubles in a bouquet! That is fabulous .. I don’t think I ever would have thought of that!

They make such a simple and cheap centerpiece. And could be great favors as well
