Hello, I’m Andrew McClelland. I’m a professional DJ, MC, comedian and an amateur but enthusiastic dancer. I love to entertain and give all of my crowds the best night possible.
I’m different from other wedding DJs because I’m not an agency. I’ve decided to keep things small, personal and boutique, even though I have decades of experience. I’m the complete package and handle everything myself, leaving nothing to chance. I love to meet you before the wedding and tailor the party to exactly what you would like, but I can also take control over the music if you just want to relax about it and focus on other things. Either way, we’re going to have a damn good dance.
My signature DJing style is a combination of well-crafted tune selection, years of mixing experience, and enthusiastic dancing. I adore DJing and can’t keep my body still while playing, which brings a genuinely unique element to my performance. I don’t know of any other DJs who add the exciting element of enthusiastic dance to their performance. My music tastes are very wide-ranging, and I can DJ any genre, but also have immense experience in bringing the classic party tracks that everyone can enjoy.
I’m also an enthusiastic, joy-filled MC, and have won awards at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Sydney Comedy Festival. If you’re looking for a host who will keep the good vibes going all through the night, I’m your guy.
You may have seen me play when I was the official support act for Cher’s 2018 AUS/NZ stadium tour or for Robbie Williams in 2022 Or Hot Dub Time Machine many times over. Or at centrepiece parties for the Melbourne International Film Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fashion Festival or Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Or perhaps you’ve come to my enduringly popular, ongoing club night ‘Mr McClelland’s Finishing School.’ Or maybe you’ve seen me play clubs in the UK, South-East Asia or New Zealand or innumerable corporate events and parties.
I also love to dress up and will happily look the part if you’d like me to dress to theme, whether it be smart casual, black-tie or the super-fancy white-tie, like at my own wedding.

-An internationally renowned entertainer. I have taken my sets all over the world, playing clubs in the UK, NZ, and Asia.
-A wide range of music. Never walking into a wedding with a “set”, I prefer to read the crowd and adapt the music to suit their energy. From The Beatles and Blondie to Taylor Swift and Beyonce, I have something for everyone.
-I’m very happy to take musical direction and tailor the night to your tastes and take requests, or you can just relax and let me read the crowd and create a set to the crowd’s tastes, live.
-A very personal touch. I’m not an agency, I’m the complete package and handle everything myself, leaving nothing to chance.
