Choosing your wedding makeup artist is a big call,

Choosing your wedding makeup artist is a big call, so we asked @ashleymoralesmakeup for her advice. She’s been doing wedding makeup for more than 15 years, and she knows what makes a morning feel calm.

She talks through all the important stuff: why everyone should book a trial, why your artist should know what makeup you usually wear, and what helps it last all day. She also shares what to look for in the reviews before you book.

Full post with all her wonderful tips can be found at the link in bio.

Nina's dress is one we'll never get over, so it's back for The Pattern Issue!

She had dressmaker Laura draw up the pattern from scratch, using navy @neridahansenfabrics fabric with colourful brushstrokes that remind her of tulips. Nina and Liam eloped at @koondrookretreat with a faux fur coat, pink boots and a handmade backdrop.

See the full stunning throwback via the link in our bio.

Liam has a red beard and wears a floral shirt, a navy knit cardigan, olive chinos and brown boots.]

"There are no 'have-to-dos' at the wedding other than the legal element!” – @hannahbuckleyyy & @nikitabuckleyyy

Finding wedding vendors who make you feel welcome, respected and celebrated should never be an afterthought. For Nikita and Hannah, choosing inclusive vendors was one of their biggest priorities, and we're so glad they shared just how much that meant to their experience!

Their Gold Coast Farm House celebration was a colourful garden party filled with disco balls, DIY details, a very fabulous pink couch and plenty of dancing.

“Our advice would be to take the day slow, take it all in, take in every moment and conversation as they go by way too quick!” – @geegra

There's a lovely little full-circle moment about Riley and Georgia's story! After meeting through mutual friends in Cronulla, reconnecting in Byron Bay and eventually building a life together, they chose the Far South Coast, a place close to both their hearts, to bring everyone together for their wedding.

Their celebration at Mimosa Wines was full of family, friends, handmade details and a few very memorable moments (including a rather enthusiastic border collie!!). We've got the whole story waiting for you on Polka Dot Featured.

Vineyard views, with a lake just beyond the celebrations, and food and wine you'll still be talking about afterwards? There's a lot to love about a celebration at @crittendenwines.

Set at the base of Red Hill, this family-owned Mornington Peninsula winery is the most beautiful backdrop for gathering your favourite people, sharing a long meal and raising a glass to what's ahead. Take a look at Sam & Derek's charming wedding captured by @dustandsaltphotography here!

“Getting every detail perfectly planned is not going to happen. So don't dwell on small, nitpicked details.” – @emma_j94

We're taking a little trip down south for Emma and Tyler's beautiful celebration at Solitaire Homestead!

Think Australian native flowers, a gorgeous outdoor ceremony, handmade timber furniture with family history and a reception that even included homemade cheese toasties for a late-night snack.

We have a feeling you'll love discovering the stories behind them just as much as we did!

Sorry, wedding day, you’ve got some luxurious competition!

@Kokomoprivateisland might just be the most romantic place to start married life. @lisaperkovic road tests the perfect Fiji honeymoon – with a private plunge pool, a castaway picnic on an uninhabited island and a candlelit pontoon dinner under the stars.

Read all about her experience at the link in our bio.
