With the Hunter Valley wedding region just around the corner, Newcastle’s unique urban beauty is often overlooked. Recently opened Modus is the solution to draw eyes back to the coastal city and all it can offer those planning a wedding. Today’s styled shoot is full of modern styling and peachy tones and has all the wedding inspiration you need!

This shoot showcases how you can still have a stunning city wedding without sacrificing the aesthetic. When any venue is styled right, it becomes the perfect blank canvas to paint your dream wedding. With modern styling and vibrant pops of colour in the florals and decor, this shoot lets the personality of the venue shine through.

As one of Newcastle’s only wedding venues, the Newcastle-based team curated this shoot to show off the modern charm of Modus. Sarah Wysel from Sarbo Studio and the team from SJR Media Co beautifully captured every finely tuned detail and fleeting look between our couple. Sarah shared the inspiration for the shoot: “Inspired by the inner-city location, we aimed to create a shoot that resonates with couples seeking a style that reflects their unique personality. We wanted it to be sleek and modern with vibrant and playful styling.”

The collaborative effort of the team brought their vision to life with this enchanting peach shoot – each offering their unique expertise. A lot of the shoot was centred around this incredible spicy margarita tower, a fun twist on a classic element, something a little out of the box but still entirely recognisable.

The modern styling by Events to Adore and Designs to Adore was sleek yet vibrant and playful. The fruit styling and florals done by Lily & Mae Floristry perfectly complemented the styling while adding that pop of peach colouring. From the beautiful ceremony staging with the beautiful big bows, textured pillars and colourful flowers and fruit – every detail was thoughtfully curated and perfectly executed.

Our couple here execute a playful yet sophisticated air. The bride wore this stunning gown by Breeanna Maree, while our groom looked sharp in his Rundle Tailoring suit. Our beautiful bride was transformed by the talented Makeup by Bonnie-Lee, and her look was finished with delicate jewellery from Kate & Kole.
