You know that we’re all about doing your wedding your way and when you take a look at Dani Bartlett Photography’s images you’ll see couples who have done just that. Her images have  an energy and vibrancy, with lots of emotions that draw you into that moment in time – that sums up the feelings that you want to remember as you look back through your images.

Dani chooses surroundings that reflect the couple – some are bright and colourful, some give a sense of enclosure, some a sense of whimsy – all are those magical moments that pass by so quickly that it takes an experienced eye to see and capture them. And that’s what makes these images so special – we almost feel that we can jump in and have a laugh with the couple and share in their joy.

Weddings are the best to work on because….

No two are the same! The styling, colours, atmosphere are different for each! Plus the love that spews out of weddings and the rad couples I get to hangout with!

What is something people would be surprised to know about your job or something that challenges you about your job?

The amount of time I spend sitting at my desk doing admin and editing is a real challenge for me. I like to be able to move like on wedding days!

What is it about the creative process that you most enjoy?

Helping couples connect and relax in front of the camera plus bringing out the colours that each couple brings into their wedding – the more colour the better in my opinion!

What are you hilariously bad at?

Any kind of acrobatics – just wow! Back flips, somersaults – I’m just in struggle town the whole way!

When you were small what did you dream of being and where have those dreams taken you?

Until I was about 16, I wanted to be a vet and then I realised that I get attached to every animal I meet and that it probably isn’t the best fit for me. I know have a giant collection of random animal photos and am banned (by husband) from ever fostering animals (I would 100% keep all of them!)
