Give our Mini Gold & Moss Terrarium Name Tag DIY Tutorial’s a whirl at home!

What You Will Need:

  • Golden terrariums – ours are from Bunnings
  • Sphagnum moss
  • Chicken wire
  • Dried flowers
  • Name tags and ribbon

Step One

Cut a piece of chicken wire approximately 10x10cm, and scrunch into a ball – small enough to fit inside the terrarium. Attach this on the inside of the terrarium (use twine if necessary), then cover with sphagnum moss. Be thorough to cover the wire, and ensure it is all secure. The wire will be enough to hold the moss in place.

Step Two

Once the wire is completely covered and the terrarium is full of moss, use dried flowers to create a whimsical mini garden. The moss and wire will hold the flowers in place, however, you will need to use dried flowers, rather than fresh ones. These dried paper daisies have a gorgeous rusty, golden centre that ties in well to our gold theme.

Step Three

Tie on a name tag and leave it on the table for your guests to take home (the moss will continue to grow). You can make these up to two weeks in advance (longer if you maintain the moss), making them an easy and beautiful wedding DIY!
