Pretty in peach! If there ever was a trending colour this year, surely it has to be this beautiful, fresh shade?
Photographer Lady Bella teamed up with stylist (and floral designer!) Ivy and Bleu to create an editorial that was fresh, modern and oh-so on-trend. Stylist Shannon sharing “We love any opportunity to work with colour! As whites, blushes and soft tones are the dominant colour palette for weddings and events, so we love being able to have a play with colour and brighter tones!”
The setting, the warehouse space of Hampton Event Hire, transformed into a modern, industrial wedding, with pretty peach and blush colour palette and plenty of ideas to steal for your own big day.
Model Kate Radin wore a modern up-do (and soft wave look) both styled by Ms Francis, her makeup, complementing the peach on peach vibes thanks to makeup artist Lady Bella. Karen Willis Holmes outfitted Kate in two gorgeous gowns (you can all guess how much we love that polka dot number!) the finishing touch, handmade earrings by designer Malia Creative.
A textured white tiered wedding cake, by the ever-talented The Cake That Ate Paris complementing the look with a warm wooden cake stand, adorned with peach flowers.
And because we’re all about The Cocktail Issue this month, let’s take a moment for the array of peachy pink cocktails this team conjured up. (Our picks for peach cocktails? Opt for drinks with ruby red grapefruit juice, rosé and peach nectar). Alongside a soft blush bar, inviting guests to choose their beverage of choice thanks to paper pieces designed by White Letter Stationery, a mesh peach backdrop for the “I do’s” adorned with blooms. A wooden table, surrounded by sweet peach bentwoods (both from Hampton Event Hire). The table topped with coloured glassware, crisp white linens and lush floral centrepieces. Modern, soft peach and blush candles from Southern Lights Candle Co adding a little extra glamour.
Shannon adding “This style is super fun, warm and trendy! It’s a shoot that can be moulded into any event, whether it be a wedding that wants a little bit more colour & flare, a baby shower wanting to stray from the traditional pink and blue vibes or perfect for a super funky birthday event.” I don’t know about you, but consider us peachy keen about this one!
