At Western Australia’s beautiful Sandalford Wines, a team, led by planner Wedding Warriors created a look that married bohemian glamour styling with beautifully rich autumn vibes. Our indoor celebration centred around a magnificent backdrop with pieces by Maisey Collections. The geometric shapes of acrylic giving the winery space an almost church-like vibe. Once married, it was time to celebrate, on vintage furniture teamed with wood and a beautiful garland or marsala and coffee blooms byThe Bohemian Flower Collective.

Photographer Sandie Bertrand Photography worked to capture every little detail, which included tableware from Side Serve Perth, linens from Side Serve Perth and on-trend acrylic stationery designed by Butterfly Days. Sandie tells “The initial vision for this shoot was to seamlessly blend the two opposing styles of boho & glam.
To start, we took inspiration from the season. Our colour palette of ruby, gold & coffee was inspired by Autumn; teeming with red wine trees, golden leaves & comforting mugs of coffee.”

Our bride, model Jessica Truscott wore a dramatic and dark makeup look with deep lips and relaxed waves by Pearlin Hair & Makeup Artistry. She donned a two-piece silk gown Chosen By One Day, found at Through The White Door and custom made crowns of gold leather and ruby crystals by Holly Barker Millinery. Her look finished with a marsala faux fur jacket to fight the chill. But my favourite piece of all? A wedding veil adorned with gold foil – how stunning is this idea?

Suited For Him dressed the “groom”, Brett Muller, who started the day in a coffee toned day suit, before changing into a glam, reception suit of burgundy velvet with black with a stylish bow tie to finish.

“The elements of boho ranged from wild florals & Persian rugs to multi-textured tableware & an unstructured 2-piece gown, while we also wove elements of richness throughout” explains Sandi. “You can see the bold strokes of glam in the groom’s velvet dinner jacket, the chaise lounge, the bespoke jewelled heel accessories & the gold cathedral-inspired ceremony backdrop. It even had matching gold pieces, which we hung from the ceiling to mimic chandeliers!”
