There are all sorts of decisions to be made in the lead up to – and on the day of your Wedding. Here, Vanessa from The Wedding and Event Creators has shared 4 planning tips to help and ensure every couple has the most relaxed and happy day, without the stress of last minute decisions!
- Make sure you have a wedding day run sheet or timeline of your day and circulate to all key vendors E.g. The photographer, catering, planner, venue and DJ. This just makes sure everyone is on the same page with your wishes and timings and can keep things on track!
- Pack a wedding party esky! When having photos off site, it’s great to have champagne, beers, water and nibbles to keep you hydrated and nourished. Often the wedding party misses most of the canapés whilst having photos, so it’s important to have something to nibble on.

- Give Speeches a Time Limit Guide- A general 5, 10 minute guide for those speaking means that the timing doesn’t get completely off track and cut into your dance party time at the end of the evening.
- Have a back up plan. For all types of weather, a general back up plan is important. E.g. Rain, super hot, windy. Ensure you have discussed and have an idea of what you would do, which ultimately means less stress on the day if the weather does turn. What will be will be, however it can be much more stressful making those decisions on your wedding morning rather then well in advance and passing on said wishes to your celebrant/venue/stylist to adhere to
