When it comes to personalising your wedding, one of the easiest ways to do it is to find a venue you love, that reflects who you are. Today? We’re exploring the world of breweries by pulling together a list of ten beautiful breweries for a wedding. From the grand warehouse-style spaces to the casual spaces complete with paraphernalia on every wall. These are the venues that honour the craft of making beer in all of its glory, and make beautiful backdrops for an event.

Mountain Goat Brewery, is absolutely an old favourite around these parts (see some of our features at the venue here). The space, in urban Melbourne, is industrial chic at its finest – high brick walls that extend to ten-metre high warehouse ceilings, cement floors and a blank canvas to completely transform. The venue can hold up to 150 guests for sit down or cocktail style weddings.
Little Creatures Brewery is a bit of a crowd favourite for West Australian couples, located in the waterside suburb of Fremantle. The deck (with its own bar, and covered marquee) has a capacity for 300 guests, (or 150 for sit-down functions) with amazing views of the sea.
For a more traditional wedding vibe, Cheeky Monkey Brewery combines the appeal of a brewery, in a winery type setting. Think rolling country hills, a lake (just the ticket for a ceremony backdrop) and of course the brewery itself. The reception space, with brick walls and high metal ceilings, can accommodate 160 guests for a sit-down reception and, as a perk, takes care of the catering with its in-house restaurant.
The working brewery of Burleigh Brewing Co, allows exclusive takeovers (yay for weddings!) at their Gold Coast venue. Cement floors, warehouse ceilings and a view of the brewing tanks make for a modern backdrop for a wedding, The space is able is able to hold 150 guests for a banquet. They even have an outdoor area (great for food trucks!) which can increase guest capacity to 250.
With spectacular views, Eagle Bay Brewing Co, can host up to 80 guests for a sit-down function, or 160 for stand-up cocktail style. The venue overlooks a twenty year old vineyard, along with beautiful lawns that are gorgeous for outdoor wedding receptions under the stars.
The Hop Factory, NSW serves up over 20 beers, so it’s just the ticket for a beer lover. The Newcastle venue has an upstairs area that can hold between 40-70 guests and also has a private bar available for functions.
With a stunning barrel hall and industrial brewery on site, White Rabbit Beer can host up to 150 guests (and is just as lovely for smaller guest lists). You can even take advantage of the brew and have the team take your guests through a beer tasting.
For the authentic brewery vibe, I am partial to Prancing Pony Brewery’s “Brewshed” which can hold 120 guests for a seated function or more if including the beer garden. The Mount Barker located venue is filled with recycled furniture that respects the origin of the brand and its functioning brewery.
For West Australian couples, Cowaramup Brewing Company can host functions for 60-200 guests. It has a casual laidback vibe, so suits cocktail receptions beautifully, allowing guests to enjoy the rolling country hills as they sip and snack. The brewery can even host wedding ceremonies.
In the super hip suburb of Abbotsford, Moondog Brewery gives a blank open canvas for a wedding with, of course, an industrial style. With warehouse ceilings (that retract!) chandeliers and cement floors, well they don’t call themselves the most fun brewery around for nothing! The venue allows external caterers (like our friends at Ed Dixon) and we hear they make a pretty mean pizza too!
