The forest is always full of enchantment. Australian gum trees, with their deep and moody greens, gives this colourful and floral-filled forest wedding inspiration shoot the most stunning of settings in which to unfold.
With beautiful, bright orange and pink roses, wax flowers, sea holly, yellow wattle, smoke bush and gum leaves, today’s shoot gives a bright twist on spring wedding inspiration.
The talent of JCRC Events + Styling works her magic on styling and florals creating not just a bouquet but a flower crown, floral shoulder garland and the most unexpected but fabulous floral woven beard accessory for groom Shelby.
With Tahnee Jade Photography capturing it all, the team discovered a forest near Warragul. Here, the depths of green grounded by black burnt tones provided a contrasting backdrop for plenty of bright colour. In front of a bohemian-inspired macrame backdrop, the couple say their vows.
Tahnee explains, “the inspiration was born from a man and his beard, the perfect canvas for a colourful creation of fresh, spring florals. Our groom Shelby Grainger (dressed in navy by Calibre), instantly bringing a ‘Ned Kelly-esque’ aesthetic alive. Without a doubt, an Australian gum forest was the perfect backdrop to realise our vision.”
The bride, model Nashya Hearsum, wore a delicate, boho-inspired gown with beautiful back detail from Amante Bridal with a floral crown and naturally-styled makeup with bright coral lips by Peninsula MakeUp Artists complement her floral shoulder garland.
And, of course, what is a forest wedding without a little whimsy? Sketch & Etch created a sweet, engraved, hanging, wooden swing with a stunning floral garland as the finishing touch.
