What is your favourite region?
My favourite places to visit are rainforests because there is such a diversity of flora and fauna. The beauty of them is unparrelled to any other landscape. Some of my favourites I have visited are Cat Tien – Vietnam, Lamington National Park – Australia, Kaeng Krachan – Thailand.

Top resort recommendations?
Personally I am not one for staying in 5 star resorts, I am more of a minimalistic budget backpacker and try to save as much money as possible. In saying that, I have had the pleasure of staying in an amazing resort that gives you your own private villa, breakfast on your table before you even wake up with amazing hospitality and in a beautiful place. Its called Rouge and is located in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia. Bali itself its a breath-taking experience and coupled with this gem is an experience of a lifetime.
Suggestions for great honeymoon activities?
I am quite adventurous and outgoing so a hike up a volcano to see the sunrise would be magical (you can do that at Mt Batur in Bali). A Gondola ride in the rustic city of Venice is a relaxing romantic activity. I also think snorkelling or scuba-diving in clear blue waters in a tropical place while holding hands sounds like bliss.
The ideal location for a proposal?
I personally think any location thousands metres above sea level with a spectacular view is exceptionally epic. High up above the clouds you will literally be on cloud 9. If that’s not your cup of tea perhaps going to Italy and doing it on Juliet’s Balcony in Verona. Want something a little private? How about your own private cave pool overlooking the ocean in Santorini, Greece?
Best kept secret honeymoon location?
Bounty Island, Fiji. A very small Island which you can walk around in 30 minutes but you can always find your own private beach to relax or do whatever you want.

There are coral reefs surrounding the island so you can snorkel anytime you want. One night my girlfriend and I lay on a blanket on our own on the white sands, sharing a bottle of wine, listening to the sounds of the ocean and staring up at the sky lit up by thousands of stars. Bliss.
