When it comes to colours and tones, the rich teals, raspberry reds, purples and soft peaches of today’s jewel toned seaside wedding inspiration are incredibly rich and full of beautiful depth. A beautifully crafted take on the moodiness that the sea brings to life.
With a vision of moody romance, the team combined plenty of beautiful styles – classic, bohemian, ethereal and seaside to create a shoot that believes beautiful colour, texture and unique elements together to create one cohesive, beautifully styled look.
Cassie of Pretty Little Lane noting “Most people out there naturally fuse different styles and trends together whether it be in the home or with what they wear so naturally when dreaming up their wedding that fusion of ideas become apparent. Its OK to step outside of the box. That if you want to blend classic and boho go for it. That if you want to get married on the beach but love all things rustic then that’s OK. We are all individuals and your wedding day can be just as unique as you are.”
Photographer Emma Nayler collaborated with cinematographer Velveteen Rabbit Films , stylist Pretty Little Lane , floral designer Magnolia Grove Flowers, with an incredible cake by Sweet P Cakes and Cookies. The real-life engaged couple Katelyn and Rick, styled by makeup artist Erin Fedele Beauty and Makeup , hairstylist SB Bridal Hair, gown designer, Judy Copely Couture and Suits Direct.
Cassie notes “The intricate details of the gown provided by Judy Copley Couture waere beautifully highlighted against the harshness of the rock face, and the hair and makeup was designed to create an almost ethereal feel.”
The table was set with tones of indigo, teal, purple and raspberry complemented by soft peach. Cassie explaining “Textured velvet topped with a floating chiffon runner was dressed over a walnut table, with contrasting blues and reds in the flowers. Ceramic plates were accented by pure silver embellished tableware and adorned with real blue agate place cards. ”
Velveteen Rabbit Films captured this beautiful film of the shoot, capturing the romance and billowing beauty the natural backdrop gave.
