Whether you wish to support talented local fashion designers, need something last minute off-the-rack or simply want to wear an outfit that veers away from the norm, traditional wedding boutiques are not the only place to find your dream dress. ‘Modern takes on Romantic Renaissance’ themes are the new alternatives to vintage gowns (perhaps costume dramas such as Reign, Game of Thrones and Versailles are influencing this trend?) At the other end of the scale, minimalist brides may want to channel the simplistic elegance of Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and try out the re-emerging 90’s slip silhouette for size.
