Even though the coldest days are now behind us (hello Spring!), we just had to share a picture of the most wonderful winter wedding dessert we served at a dinner party celebration at Flowerdale Estate.
The couple married in front of the fireplace in our lounge, and all enjoyed a sumptuous feast in Gracie’s Restaurant. It was a frosty winter’s day….but nobody had any idea of the outside temperature!
The dessert was a warm compressed pear with house-made vanilla bean ice-cream, scorched meringue and Iranian fairy floss! This seemed to tip everybody over the edge into food heaven! After dinner they all adjourned to the lounge for wedding cake, coffee, cheese, and more red wine. It was a wonderful Winter’s celebration!
Ms Chinoiserie Says: I love the fairy floss; I think this could become my favourite dessert!
