At Providence Gully we have a wonderful Pomegranate orchard and I have combined my favourite double chocolate biscuits with chunks of Pomegranate Turkish Delight in this recipe for you. I love using produce from the garden, and of course eggs from my happy hens; the kitchen aroma whilst these biscuits were cooking was just yummy!
Ingredients:
150g dark chocolate, chopped
180g butter, cubed
90g cocoa
280g brown sugar
185g plain flour
3 eggs, lightly beaten
200g Pomegranate Turkish Delight, chopped (can use store bought or make your own)
Method:
Melt chocolate and butter together in a small saucepan. Sift all the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add the chocolate and butter mix, eggs and Turkish Delight and mix until combined. Drop tablespoon sized dollops of mixture onto lined baking trays. Bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Cool on wire rack and enjoy!
Ms Chinoiserie Says: These biscuits are really a wonderful “delight”: Ms Polka Dot made a double batch and they didn’t last long!!!!
