“The Nightingale sings a song so sweet and true, pale moonlight draped upon her shoulders.”
Inspired by the enchanting nightingale, comes the Spring Summer 2015/16 collection from Australian designer Paolo Sebastian. The vintage charm of the collection holds true with the modern, dramatic fusion the designer is known for.
Shades of pewter, peony and copper enhance gowns with sheer detailing, layers of tulle, ornate embroideries, ombre and fringe detail and dramatic, regal capes. The gowns are whimsical. feminine and unique in their splendor. Designer Paul Vasileff hand sketched each of the embroideries himself, pushing himself to create a collection that showed fine craftsmanship and the most beautiful of couture elements. The designer inspired by “Folktales of the graceful nightingale whose song enchants all that hear it”.
Paolo Sebastian gowns are available from their Adelaide studio or stockists in New York and Singapore.
