Angela & Henry
There is so much to love about this romantic engagement session – imagine jumping in a rowboat for your engagement photos? Roger Lee from Pictured Photography joined newlywed engaged Angela & Henry at Studley Park Boathouse for an afternoon of romance! The couple also made the most of the experience by reliving a very special moment, Angela explains. “We wanted to relive the moment of our engagement in NYC Central Park, so we decided to head down to Studley Park boat house and Corben Oval. The locations provided an fantastic backdrop for Roger to take these amazing photos.”
Angela tells the tale of how they met. “Henry and I met about 6 years ago through work. They both studied the same IT course at RMIT and began our working careers at the company through an internship program. We worked in different departments, Henry worked in the technical team and I, in the sales team. About five years ago, Henry and I had the opportunity to travel to Shanghai for work at separate occasion. During our time in Shanghai we both found a love for Xiao Long Bao (Shanghai Dumplings). Upon our return from our trip overseas, all we wanted was Dumplings. So we set out on a dumpling adventure. This is how our romantic relation began. ”
On what she loves about Henry, Angela says, “I love how supportive and loving Henry is. He puts up with all my silliness, laughs at my not so funny jokes and loves me no matter how crazy I am.”
Angela recalls the proposal story, which took place in New York! “We got engaged in Central Park, New York. Henry hired a row boat and rowed it out to a quiet spot on the lake in front of the bow bridge, before popping the question on one knee. I was so afraid of the boat tipping over, I asked Henry to sit back on the boat before saying ‘yes’. It was so unexpected and romantic, I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal.”
On what he loves about Angela, Henry says, “I love how Angela is so caring and always puts others first! She is an amazing person and I’m grateful to have met someone like her to spend the rest of my life with.”
Super cute!
