With Summer just around the corner, beach side weddings are starting to fill calenders and today’s inspiration shoot from photographer Hannah of Lost In Wishful Thinking and Hong of The Affordable Style Files is just the right amount of nautical and beachy details for a country coastal wedding.
Hannah and Hong teamed up with model Kimberley O’Brien, assistant Emma Flint and headed to a farm overlooking paddocks and and a view of Mount Cooroy in QLD’s Sunshine Coast Hinterland. A garden party with fishing nets, glass buoys hung from trees, fresh seafood served from giant clamshells and rustically styled furniture from Coastal Vintage set the scene. Add a bucket load of globe string lights and candles for an evening celebration.
The flowers – a mix of Australian natives add a bohemian, relaxed feel to the shoot with greenery decorating plain white wooden chairs and the lush canopy of trees overhead doing the rest.
Of the inspiration behind the shoot, Hannah tells, “We like to call it “Country Coastal” style. Think trestle tables, overflowing with giant clam shells, eucalyptus, glass floats, and old fishing net runner, intertwined with starfish, and pearl shell salad plates with European style lunch platters served on boards and prawns in the clam shells. The branches above dripping with larger glass floats and lanterns.”
The “bride” wore a floor length lace gown from When Freddie Met Lilly with a crown made from wattle.
Stunning photos! I love the wedding gown, looks simple but elegant.
I just love Country weddings, so many more great photo ops
