I have no clue which part of today’s incredible inspiration shoot I love the best. The sweet Australian country church , the sweet stolen glances between the “bride and groom”, the baby joey, the endless flower garlands, the bride’s enormous and absolutely stunning bouquet or the lamington wedding cake. This shoot is so Australian and so beautiful and I know you’ll be pouring over each and every image just as much as I did!
Photographer Angela Higgins , who pulled together the shoot with stylist and planner White Events and florist Flower Talk says, “It was the beautiful chapel, St Paul’s in Jarrahdale that became the inspiration for our Australian White Wedding. We chose to focus on local vendors and create something beautiful in a small chapel wedding with stunning florals taking centre stage.”
Angela notes “Our vision was to simply honour the church and bush location. With passionfruit vines and local roses, Flower Talk created the most incredible trailing bouquet for our bride that complimented the custom gowns from Perth designer Samantha Wynne“.
The subtle Australian styling continued throughout, with thanks to Darling Range Wildlife Shelter and The Cake & I. Angela noting, “A simple delicious two-tiered lamington cake was a very obvious nod to our Australian bush location and last but not least were our visitors of a wallaby and a joey Red Kangaroo that were simply too adorable for words!”
Thank you Polka Dot Bride for the feature and super excited to see them published!
Starting to see a lot of bridesmaids in white – but also a LOT in black! White will be much more comfortable for the hot days, especially this coming weekend ….
