Fancy a Valentines Day cocktail treat? Here’s a little Valentine Pomegranate Sparkle I whipped up. The tartness of the pomegranate seeds and juice is a yummy contrast to the sweetness of the champagne and brown sugar. This recipes makes two, or more if you add extra champagne!
Ingredients:
– two tablespoons of brown sugar
– Pommery champagne
– one pomegranate
Method:
Break or tap the seeds out of half the pomegranate and place aside. Squeeze the other half of the pomegranate to extract the juice.
Pour the pomegranate juice into a cocktail shaker and add the brown sugar. Stir or shake to dissolve sugar.
Pour mixture into a champagne goblet and top up with champagne.
Add pomegranate seeds.
