At the end of a very grey week, I need something bright and cheerful to inject a bit of life and fun into our little world and what better than sunflowers to remind us of warmer sunny days to come? (And I’m a winter lover, what’s going on here!)
I love sunflowers for their bold, bright shape and colour and they make such a beautiful, happy addition to a wedding. They have personality and are bold enough on their own to create a statement and where ever you use them there is the feeling that ‘this celebration is going to be joyous and full of fun’!
Sunflowers are in season in Australia from September to February, or really when it’s warm and sunny.

Such a good idea for a themed wedding! I love sunflowers, so colourful compared to the whites and greens at most weddings!
Where can I get sunflowers for my wedding in January 2014. The florist I chose in sandy bay Tasmania informed me that sunflowers in January are not good quality. Is that true and if not could you give me a stockist I could contact regarding the availability of sunflowers. Thank you Mary
