I loved the Rose headpiece. It looks so romantic and very charming. I would love to wear it for my big day in March. It is just so effortlessly chic!
Hi, What an exciting competition.
I absolutely adore the Marlene headpiece so spring, girly and sophisticated, creating a wow factor for the perfect wedding day. Jannie, offers something different, unseen anywhere before. She has an eye for detail and creates stand out pieces that would make any bride beam with delight.
I’m getting married in September in Maleny and am beyond excited. I met my fiance on a tour through Egypt and after months of long distance, we are now together in Perth. I could be wearing a hessian bag and i’d still be excited about marrying this man. Good luck to who ever wins this amazing prize.
I love the Erin headpiece. The floral theme and French lace of “Erin” are a familiar base for those who are fond of vintage expressions of beauty. Encrusted with varying layers of glamour, this modest base is scattered with the sparkle of Broadway sequins, the shimmering of glass-hearted Preciosa pearls, and the eloquence of crystals. A clever concoction of “something old, something new,” this piece harmoniously marries traditional modesty with modern glamour. The headpiece would feature beautifully as the crowning crescent in an up-style hair-do.
Jannie Baltzer is an amazing talent! My favourite is the ‘Camille’ headpiece. The french lace and crystals give the piece an air of enchantment. It is beautifully eye catching, yet understated enough not to overpower a wedding dress. An amazing piece that I would absolutely love to wear on my upcoming wedding day!
I adore the Carolina. It is the perfect combination of vintage luxe – a perfect addition to my wedding attire for my November garden wedding in Margaret River, Western Australia.
The soft lace with hint of sparkle would certainly give the guests something to talk about and stand out in our photos for years to come.
My favorite piece is “Charlotte” I have been looking everywhere for the perfect piece to wear in my hair. I’m getting married in November and would love to have such a beautiful piece to wear and bring my whole outfit together!
Both the Rose and Marlene pieces are effortlessly chic. Delicately & romantically feminine. Rose would perfectly compliment my March wedding 🙂 Im in Love! x
A wedding day has so much planning involved and so much anticipation builds up to the big day. I have been told it will fly by in a blink of an eye, so savour every moment. I think a beautiful jewelled head piece will be one of those items that will treasured and bring back memories of the big day. My favourite headpiece is the ‘Erin’. It has a delicate pretty look that just makes me smile. Here’s to great memories! 🙂
The Martine is stunning. I love how whimsical Jannine’s designs are. They have such a magical quality.
I am a big believer in simplicity of accessories. A meticulously designed piece such as this, paired with a sparsely embellished or lace gown would be such a stand out.
I simply cannot choose a favourite, I completely and totally adore them all!! I have drooled over Jannie’s stunning creations ever since we started planning our big day. My dress is quite simple so to finish my look off with a beautiful whimsical head piece would be perfect, they are so ME! If I won, I would have to leave it up to Jannie to choose, what a wonderful surprise that would be!
How gorgeous is the ‘Erin’ headpiece. It would match perfectly with my dress, and we share the same name! I only hope I look that stunning on my wedding day in April.
My favourite is the “Marlene” – so pretty, chic and looks very versatile – I’d love to wear it with a little half birdcage veil! Vintage gorgeousness and just the right amount of bling 🙂
I have just changed my dress ahhh I’m crazy and ordered another one (wedding is in 3 months :s haha) my new one is very unique and stunning. A high neck lace choker style with a low back and form fitting. As it’s so different I can’t really wear a veil as it takes away from the dress so I was thinking of just adding something to my hair. I think the piece ‘Charlotte’ would be a beautiful addition and put the finishing touches on my look.
I’m in love with Martine, and yes I think it may just be the real deal. Let’s face it ladies, we all want a nicely formed yet functional piece, and this one certainly fits the bill. A headpiece which doubles as a sexy sash? We have a winner!
The ‘Jasmine’ headpiece is simply divine.
For me it is as enchanting in elegance while maintaining a certain bohemian godliness. Any bride adorned with the Jasmine headpiece could be seen as a perfect piece of artistic flair.
I believe fitted to the correct updo or worn with long flowing curls the Jasmine will fit any brides needs.
This particular bride, would honour the opportunity to feature such a striking headband on the day where only perfection will be acceptable, as I delight in marrying the man of my dreams.
Wow! They are all so beautiful! I would dsyethe Estelle! It is so stunning and elegant!
Such a lovely surprise to see all of your sweet comments – I really enjoy reading each one of your persona stories!
I wilsh, you all a wonderful wedding day filled with love, and I can´t wait to start designing a beautiful piece for the winner.
Love,
Jannie
I have been eye balling Jannie Baltzers 2013 collection for awhile. As a design student I am highly inpressed at every detail of her designs. I even called my local bridal shop to tell their buyer about it so they could potentially buy/sell them! My faviroite? Thats SO hard. I love Marlene and Elise the best but thats even hard to narrow down! Thank you for this amazing giveaway, this will absolutely make someones day 🙂
Wow, they are all breathtaking!! I would love to have “Jasmine” in my hot little bride hands!! ..or on my head i should say!! It is simple yet understated elegance, and oh so pretty!! It would go perfectly with my Claire Pettibone dress!! Thank you polkadotbride for the introduction to Jannie Baltzer= AMAZING! Your site is my Holy Grail for anything wedding! xo
Hi ladies, Im in love with “Marlene”
This style is so pretty, its big enough to make a statement but not so big to be overpowering. I think it will compliment my dress perfectly, without taking away from it.
I love the Rose headpiece! It is so elegant and beautiful!
The ‘Liz’ is superb! The beautiful ostrich feathers set the piece of and add such s delicate and subtle change of texture to the piece. I love the the structure of this piece as it morphes into the front of the face, divine! Så hygge!
My love for Jannie Baltzer’s collection of headpieces began when I became engaged. Flicking through bridal magazines and online websites I found an image of Jannie Baltzer’s ‘Alice’ headpiece and said, ‘this is what i want to look like on my wedding day’. So for me, my favorite would have to be the ‘Alice’. This headpiece is more than Lovely, it is absolutely enchanting and more than beautiful.
I adore the Vivian and its classic & timeless elegance. Such a perfect accessory for the finishing touch on your wedding day.
Love the belle clip! Stunning, would be perfect for my big day next January 🙂
My favorite is ESTELLE. It is so simple, big, and beautiful. I can actually see myself wearing this on my wedding day. It’s not too trendy, it’s classic. I am in love.
Oh Gosh! That’s such a difficult decision! I love so many of them. The MARLENE, CAROLINA, BLOSSOM. Just so stunning.
BUT!!! The ALICE in ivory has a such a soft feel to it. It would be absolutely perfect.
They’re just so heavenly.
My bits might be droopy,
And my skin might be fair,
But I can still look a stunner,
With a Janine Baltzer hairpiece in my hair!
It’s a hard choice, but my favourite is the ERIN headpiece.
Oh crap….my dislexia got the better of me. I got Jannie’s name wrong in my original post….how embarrassing….I’M SO SORRY JANNIE!
I fell in love with Jannie’s headpiecs when I started planning my wedding a yr ago. I had been searching high and low for a show stopping piece and had no luck. I have a headpeice that I wear quite often on special occasions and I’m am always complimented on it. I knew I wanted to wear one instead of a veil but knew i had my work cut out for me in finding a super special one. I fell head over heels in love with the Martine halo headpeice. I am getting married in April and I just know that this piece would complete my dream look for my big day! Fingers & toes crossed 🙂
My wedding has been and gone, but I want to wear one of these everyday to feel like a princess all over again!
My favourite is the Marlene. I love the bling, but it’s still feminine and pretty.
And it seems like I could wear it to the office right? haha!
Jannie Baltzer’s headpieces are extraordinary masterpieces – to choose just one favorite is a difficult task indeed! However, I will have to say the one which really caught my eye was the lovely Rose. This piece is so delicate, yet it also has a young and fun air about it… It would compliment my dress so perfectly for my wedding in September! I would truly feel like a whimsical princess to be wearing such a beautiful creation on my wedding day!
Jacqueline or Estelle, I can’t decide. Both quite different but stunning all the same.
The ‘Marlene’ is just beautiful, it would definitely make my wedding sparkle!! The handmade flowers are so gorgeous & it would just complete my October 26th burlap & bling wedding 🙂
I love the vintage elegance of Alice. It is soft whimsical! I think I am in love.
My absolute favourite is the Josephine headpiece. It is so elegant. If I were to wear this, I would feel like I had stepped out of the 1920’s…an era I wish I had grown up in! To me, this piece oozes elegance.
MY DAUGHTER IS GETTING MARRIED IN MAY AND THIS IS ALMOST EXACTLY WHAT HER DREAM VEIL IS! I AM SO SHOCKED TO SEE THIS! I REALLY HOPE TO WIN FOR HER:)
MARLENE
It’s just stunning.
it’s always hard to find the right piece to compliment
You and your special day. But Jannie Baltzer has done this perfectly.
Marlene is a beautiful and elegant, any girl would feel a princess wearing this.
At first glance – a toss up between Jasmine and Josephine – but the final decision – my favourite is Josephine – the perfect amount of detail on the forehead without taking away from the model’s beautifully and naturally made up face. Stunning!
I love Daria!
It is simple and beautiful, I would feel beautiful wearing it!!
I absolutely adore the “Erin”!
I have my first love and soulmate again after 14 years, and I have the dress of my dreams… the Erin matches my dress beyond belief and would be the perfect final touch to the day I have been waiting for for a very long time. It would make me feel so beautiful!
I would love the Martine head piece, its sooooo beautiful!
I am going for a vintage boho style and the Martine headpiece would look amazing with my grace loves lace dress!
I like Rose, because like it says, it’s just so darn pretty! It would go beautiflly with the Grace Loves Lace dress I’m eyeing off for my November wedding x
The Marlene head piece is just exquisite! Love its smoky taupe, mocha tone because it would look absolutely stunning against my blush pink Jennifer Gifford gown and our vintage romance theme ! Jannie Baltzer Couture Headpieces have become my new passion!!
Oh Martine! Simply stunning! She would complete my bridal outfit, would make me feel like a vintage goddess!
VIVIAN! Oh my goodness! Lace – check, Pearls – check.
What more could a girl want in a head piece, absolutely heavenly!
I think my girl would love Carolina! I love Carolina, and she has been searching for a long while to find something similar, it seems to have all the sparkly detail she is after.
And no I was not put up to this 🙂
They are all magnificent but my personal choice would be Erin, it is simply stunning.

The Jacqueline took my breath away! Have been a fan of the birdcage veil for some time now and this one is just so lovely and perfect for a vintage vibe wedding.
I love love love all of them! I guess if I had to choose one it would be the Daria vine. It is so unique and I would feel so special wearing it! I also love the gold (vivianne) I think it’s called, I couldn’t reload the page to check the name! I haven’t bought a dress yet but would choose one based around such a stunning head piece. I think the Daria vine would be perfect for our tropical wedding! Pick me, pick me! Ha ha. I love it!
I love the Marlene hair piece. I’m having a garden wedding in November and this is exactly what I’ve been looking for to complement both my dress and the venue. I love how the floral design is so modern and feminine, yet in keeping with the charm of the 1920s prohibition period. Love love LOVE!
What’s not to love about the Elise.
Takes me back to my idea of the roaring 20’s, where flapper were the look de jour, it was a crime to drink (but the thrill of getting caught made it so much more exciting) and ostentatious was a word to describe richly, delicious cake, rather then a personality. Not to mention, I could totally image Daisy Buchannan coveting this piece at one of Gatsby’s affairs.
Hurrah for a little bit of old hollywood elegance.
My favourite headpiece is the Carolina for the simple reason that I love headbands, lace and sparkles and the Carolina has all three!
Erin, so pretty and so classically beautiful. It will look fantastic against my brunette hair which I plan on wearing in a loose, braided side bun
I simply love Jannie’s work, it is like good vibes “in natura” on every piece she creates. We are planning our April wedding and nothing would fit my style (unconventional, exquisite while still classy) better than Jannie Baltzer’s Riva headpiece. Keeping my fingers crossed!
I LOVE ‘erin’! It would be such an honor to wear such a beautiful headpiece made by such a talented designer, on my wedding day.
I’m submitting this response on behalf of my older sister. She recently got engaged to her fiance on her birthday. Of course as a couple they would do it unconventionally…he proposed to her on the beach, surprised her with the ring as being just another simple birthday present. When he knelt down on his knee and said the words she thought she would cry…until a fly went up his nose!
I must say they are the kind of couple that make you believe in true love and your soul mate. They said ‘I love you’ after they had only known each other for two weeks. The look they share…it’s breathtaking.
I love my sister with all my heart. She is my best friend. She is a person that you can’t help but like and what to know…why? Because she want’s to know you. She makes you feel interesting, important and funny, like you and she share a secret joke that nobody understands. She deserves nothing but the best on her special day…
She’s planning a secret wedding garden…surrounded by orchids. To get married sooner rather than later they are sacrificing a lot. They can’t afford bridesmaids or groomsmen. The blossom headpiece would be beautiful on her. The fragility of the piece and its delicateness…looking at it, it made me think of the song ‘Bloom’ by The Paper Kites and gave me the same overwhelming pressure I feel in my chest when listening to it. It’s breathtaking, just like her…just like them.
I can’t wait to see them begin their life together 🙂
Made with beautiful French lace
The Erin brings a big smile to my face.
For our wedding we have a garden theme in mind
Which makes this sequined flower headpiece a special find.
The pearls and crystals match my dress
This handcrafted piece is quick to impress.
Ivory, cream and silver too
Even the colours match right through.
Although the Erin is the one I love most
All of Jannie’s products have something unique to boast!
This piece is handmade with love and care
It’s the piece I wish to complete my wedding hair!
Carolina Gold is my absolute favourite! We are getting married at His Majesty’s Theatre in Perth City and I need a bit of gold brilliance in my hair to match the gold walls and the glamour of such a magnificent building. This headpiece is amazing and will help me to sparkle on our special day!
This was such a hard decision! All of the head pieces by Jannie Baltzer are beautiful. My favourite for now would have to be ‘Erin’. I love the design and detail and it’s versatility! I hope I win this so that I can feel beautiful from head to toe on my wedding day 🙂
i love the elisse and the estelle- beautiful, simple but so elegant. I’m getting married in december, it’s both our 2nd time, however it took forever for us to find each other-soulmates, soppy yes but i still want a fairytale and with paying for it ourselves that isn’t possible. So the opportunity to win one of these sublime pieces would be wonderful.
Saraxo
I just can’t choose; they’re all so elegant and beautiful. I adore the Vivian, Camille and Erin but secretly wish I could pull off the Celina Veil- That would be my absolute dream headpiece…
THEY ARE ALL GREAT – TOO HARD TO CHOOSE. THANKYOU.
I love the Marlene hairpiece, it is simple yet elegant and timelessly beautiful
OMG, i am starting to save now to have one of these amazing pieces in my wedding in May, loooovvee the Martine headpeice, stunning!! 🙂
It is a hard choice between Erin and Blossom! But I love the look of Blossom being at the back 🙂 I am having a beach wedding and it is a gorgeous piece that would go so well with my bohemian, beach dress – the colours and style are elegant and unique which is just what I want my wedding to be!
I love the jospephine and it will go perfect with my dress next years, and this would be way better than a vail
Something old my great grand mothers pearl drop earrings
Something new Jasmine headpiece by Jannie Baltzer
Something borrowed my sisters Tiffany charm bracelet
Something blue a vintage garter belt in powder blue
The Jasmine headpiece by Jannie Baltzer is exquisite. The fine detail and workmanship on this piece is divine, it’s actually a work of art. The colour of the pearls in this piece are an exact match to my great grandmothers pearl drop earrings.
The Elise. I love the small panel of veil across the forehead, the unbalanced design and the delicate sprinkle of Preciosa crystals.
I love the Riva. It’s so unique and daring, but at the same time still elegant and understated. I’ve never been one for tradition so love the idea of incorporating some darker shades into a typical pale entire.
I love the Erin. The flowers are so detailed but the piece still looks delicate and so feminine. Im having a destination wedding and I love the look of an elegant hair piece of beautiful flowers rather than real flowers.
CAROLINA
I absolutely love the Carolina design. It’s simply old-world elegance at its best. I think it would make any bride feel a little bit Grace Kelly princess-like and is sure to become one of those heirloom items that is carefully preserved and passed through the generations. In a word, ‘stunning’!
I think GRACE would be just perfect for my wedding – it reminds me of a similar style my nan has in her wedding photos I’ve seen and it would be an honor for me to wear this stunning headpiece before she forgets her life totally from Alzheimers. It shows elegance yet simplicity and is a timeless piece of beauty all on its own. It has a style that draws me into and can imagine being in that era of time just like my nan was,
ERIN – BREATHTAKING is the perfect way to describe this beautiful piece, I’m getting married in a little over 12months I haven’t bought a dress yet so it would be amazing to be able to make the dress match my headpiece 🙂
THE MARLENE!!!! All of the headpieces are totally amazing I love them ALL!! But if I had to choose just one the Marlene would have to be my favorite! It suits the style of my wedding perfectly!! A stunning headpiece can make or break your outfit for the day and I believe this stunning piece would definitely make my wedding outfit absolutely perfect!!! 🙂
Lela, the most gorgeous floral vine imaginable has to be my number one but they are all unique & incredible. Well done Jannie Baltzer on creating such a range.
The GRACE is simply stunning and I love it for its vintage charm and elegance. I’d love to give it to my sister who is soon to be wed. I will be asking her to be my baby girl’s godmother and this would be a perfect, timeless gift to give her.
Blossom, i love how it is in the back it will suit the hairstyle ive wanted and will jus make me so much more elegant
O.M.G…… I cannot believe this moment has come true! I have been researching Jannie Baltzer headpieces for months. My most recent plan was to fly to Melbourne where a boutique stocks them…… But my wedding would be completed by Polka Dot Bride if this competition came true for me.
ERIN would be my choice. Perfect dimensions, perfect hues of ivory and luxurious touch of bling.
I just adore Erin! It is the most gorgeous head piece I have seen in so long. It is so small and simple but oh so perfect. xx
Carolina Gold, is my favorite, its a very standout piece yet sweet, subtle yet vivid – it says see me!!
I love the ROSE headpiece, so classically beautiful, stunning and could be worn for many different occasions.
Astrid, as it’s absolutely stunning, pretty and unique. It’s a very elegant and striking design. It’s versatile to wear for special occasions.
I am just the humble husband-to-be
But I can write the odd ditty
I’m sneaking onto Polka Dot Bride
Because I saw my fiance’s eyes go wide
She squealed about Jannie Baltzer
And I just wanted to help her
The Erin headpiece is all I hear about
It’s pinned to her planner, and I have no doubt
She loves it because she’s blonde
And yet it stands out shining and strong
I keep out of the way on wedding stuff if I am smart
But by doing this I know I have done my part
Carolina Gold..
Its a stunning head piece…..being hand made makes it more special
Im positive it will make me look absolutely stunning on any special day that i wore it..
Im sure heads would turn and people would be talking about how stunning it is… I know I would!! 😀
