Its November and time for another Desperately Seeking! Where the Polka Dot community helps out with strange queries, hard to find requests and venue searching! Strap on your Googling skills and let’s help them out!
Bride #1 is trying to find a catholic priest in Sydney that will perform a marriage ceremony at their (non church) venue.
Bride #2 is seeking an outdoor garden wedding venue in Perth that will serve sit down dinner for 50-60 people. She loves the thought of sitting under the stars rather than a marquee.
Bride #3 is seeking beautiful yellow shoes to wear with her wedding dress
Bride #3 is also seeking a ‘message in a bottle’ for guests to write their wishes and for us to open on our 10th anniversary (instead of a guest book)

Bride #4 has fallen in love with a 2010 Melissa Sweet gown (pictured above! Also known as “Maldives” reverie by Melissa Sweet ) She would love to find it second hand, an Australian stockist of the gown, or a dressmaker in Melbourne who can create the gown for her.
Bride #5 is looking for a stunning B & B out in the Adelaide Hills or Barossa where they have the ceremony in the gardens, photos (so lots of different areas), the reception and where 12 people can stay. Would love the rustic homestead feel but with 5 star services.
There will only be 12 guests, so the venue doesn’t need to be massive or needs to allow smaller events.
Bride #6 is looking for a Sydney dressmaker to make a top for her bridal skirt. She needs someone who can work from a picture rather than just a pattern.
Can you help our couples with their searches? Do you know of that elusive venue or dressmaker? Leave a comment below!
Bride 6 – Try Brides Closet
http://www.bridescloset.com.au/
you can send a picture and they will copy straight from it.
Bride #2 – The Cottesloe Civic Centre in Perth Cottesloe, can host your ceremony as well as your reception and have your reception on the lawn under the stars – have a look at Beaumonde Catering deals with a lot of weddings there and can do both ceremony and reception – have a look :), hope this helpshttp://www.beaumondecatering.com.au/
try zappos.com for yellow shoes
Also try heels.com

Bride 3# Amazon.com seems to have the best selection of yellow heels
Bride #3: have you tried The Quarry Amphitheatre? http://www.quarryamphitheatre.com.au/Home
We went to a wedding there in April and it was really beautiful – ceremony was held there too.
*Sorry, that was meant for Bride #2.
Bride #2- Look at Lamont’s at Bishops House. Beautiful little garden venue and they do both indoor and outdoor private functions. If you google weddings for them there are some lovely photos. The food is apparently amazing as well! If I was going outdoor I would be going there! Good luck!
I’m looking for yellow shoes too and found that Shoes of Prey is the best website if you’re looking for something precise as you design your own shoe. They sent me 5 different leather samples too so I could choose the exact one I wanted.
Bride #2 – try Riverside @ Woodbridge. They were featured on this website back in July last year, also it’s not technically in Perth but well worth the 45min trip – Faversham House in York. Most of their wedding receptions are held on the formal lawns infront of the manor. They also provide an all inclusive service of food, accomodation, ceremony and photos on the premises if you choose and I think the option of BYO alcohol.
Try http://www.plasdene.com.au for bottles…they do all sorts of jars / bottles, etc and are very cheap (min order spend is $120)
Bride #2 – Matilda Bay or quarry amphitheater (Heyder & Shears can do outdoor catering service at both)
Bride # 6 – look no further than Shoesofprey.com – best service ever!
Bride #2 here. Thankyou so much everyone for all your suggestions, they are extrememly helpful 🙂 xx
Bride #3 My favourite yellow heels of all time are the ones available on BHLDN http://www.bhldn.com/shop-the-bride-bridal-shoes/bow-topped-slingbacks-emerald/productoptionids/180a13d5-8fed-408c-94be-b508cb0b8954 They come in the most beautiful Sunshne yellow so if you can track them down or wait to see if they release them in Summer they are definitely gorgeous!
Also a double recommendation for Shoes Of Prey, i have used them twice and love them!
Bride #2 Also try Woodbridge House
This wedding we featured was there and looked stunning
