I cannot believe we are in December! Which means there are only a few Monday morning greetings I get to make before we switch off our computers and take a breath! Have you finished your Christmas shopping yet? Braved the crowds? Or did you shop online?
Let’s take a breath from Christmas and visit the glorious pages of Ms Polka Dot’s Directory
Every week we’re adding more new vendors to the pages of our directory- from wedding gown designers, to wedding florists, wedding celebrants and event stylists. We’re always eager to find the best of the best, the artists who creatively pull ideas together that are like no other, that thrive on working with brides who want to personalise their day.
Pollyanna Bernhardt Hair and Makeup is a talented hair & makeup artist who runs her own studio out of Eltham, Victoria (but travels!). Not only has Pollyanna got extensive experience in advertising and fashion work but she also does weddings- bingo!

Your favourite wedding story?
My parents married when I was 1 year old. My mother wore a white vintage Mexican embroidered dress with cotton lace panels.
At the signing of the papers my parents were photographed as goes the norm. It was only when my mum had the photos printed that she noticed that her nipple was rather obviously peeping through one of the lace panels!
