Running a business where my shopfront is online, I love any opportunity of being involved in events to showcase our work, and have the chance to meet all the wonderful brides and grooms in person. However, I find that quite often Wedding Expos can be so overwhelming. They are often over-crowded, and you are bombarded with so much information as you walk through, which can just add to your confusion.
The Perth Upmarket first started in 2008 and over the past few years has grown to become such an iconic quarterly event, attracting thousands of people coming to peruse all the latest creations from local artisans. So when I saw that they were holding their first ever Wedding Upmarket, I jumped at the opportunity to be involved. Saturday the 13th of August was the big day, and I was excited for us to be part of the first ever Wedding Upmarket, held at Mosmans Restaurant. Not just another wedding expo, but rather an intimate gathering of some of Perth’s exclusive suppliers, showcasing and selling their latest creations.

Ms Gingham says: Great look at the first Wedding Upmarket event! We hope there’s many more successful events like this one in Perth.
Janelle says: “Having served my time in the high paced commercial world working alongside some of Sydney’s top designers, I decided it was high time for a change and so the Pretty Paper Co. was born. Stationery design gives me the freedom to flex my creative muscles in a much more personal arena and allows me a glimpse into life’s loveliest celebrations. I hope my pretty paper helps you celebrate life’s special occasions in style.”
What a beautiful way to exhibit, I love it! It is always so exciting to see the wedding industry find new and innovative ways to reach the ever more discerning brides 🙂 Congratulations on a stunning event!
