Ballerina Bell gown
I love getting delights like this one in my inbox- it’s the next set of gowns in Collette Dinnigan‘s 2011 bridal collection and the perfect way to start a week of inspiration don’t you think? I love these new gowns – they have such a dreamy softness to them! As per the other gowns in this year’s collection, there are plenty of fluffy ballerina skirts and Collette’s signature use of feminine detailing and fabrics is there in every gown.
I think Ballerina Bell (above) is my favourite with the soft detailing- I love the different straps, once traditional and one with a little glitter and shine. The bow around the waist and fluffy ballerina skirt is dreamy.
The shimmering silver gowns are accented by incredibly detailed bodices – a stunning alternative to the classic cream or white gown.

I’ve got very similar to the Glitter Stones dress in an XS. It’s a one off that CD did and I preferred the skirt part of it as it’s a subtle A-line and sits nicer than the original, I think. It’s the same beaded bodice and same fabric (silver taffeta) bottom. I won’t war it until November though – when do you need it?
